The Academy has partnered with The Glass-House Community Led Design to deliver four free national debates titled ‘Putting People in their Place’.
The debates are part of the Glass-House’s annual series on great placemaking and community led initiatives, which bring together key speakers from the development, community and design sectors. The 2012/13 series sets out to discover what the real priorities of placemaking are today in the UK.
The theme of The Glass-House Debate Series 2012/13 in partnership with The Academy of Urbanism is Putting People in their Place. Over four dates between October 2012 and March 2013, in four UK cities, we will explore the relationship between people, place and value from very distinct perspectives.
